The Qur’an and Sunnah often emphasise the importance of parents in Islam
My mother and father always made dua for their parents, showing true gratitude for how they bring, raise, and guide us in this world. In Islam, the Qur’an and Sunnah teach the importance of honouring them for the sake of Allah (SWT). Every time we pray, it reflects love and deep faith.
A Hadith from the Prophet (peace be upon him)

A man asked the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), “Who is most deserving of my good company?” The Prophet said, “Your mother.” He said it three times, then added, “Your father.” (Hadith, Sahih, Bukhari, Muslim)
