Fourth Kalima (Tauheed)

The Quran in Surah Ikhlas clearly describes the true meaning of Tauheed as the Oneness of Allah. This is the central doctrine in Islam, emphasizing the unification of God as the One, also called Al-Ahad or Al-Wahid. Understanding Tauheed is key as it represents the first pillar of faith.

The Meaning and Importance of Tauheed

Grasping the seriousness of shirk—associating partners or divinities with Allah—deepens respect for Tauheed. The Qur’an warns that shirk is a serious and unforgivable sin because it breaks belief in Allah’s oneness. This unification of God is the core pillar of Islam, shown clearly in Surah Ikhlas.

What is the Meaning of Tauheed?

Understanding the Core: Tauheed in Real Life

As a Muslim, I was taught early that Tauheed means the oneness of Allah (SWT), the heart of Islam. It’s a fundamental belief that shapes our faith, urging complete worshipping of Him alone. This concept of monotheism is what truly distinguishes Muslims from non-Muslims.

Benefits of 4th Kalima Tauheed

Strength of the Heart through Daily Remembrance

Reciting the Fourth Kalima daily brings deep spiritual strength and protection from evil. Saying it 100 times every day builds faith and connects the heart and soul to Allah SWT. This habit quietly strengthens your bond with Him and makes your inner self feel stronger.

Endless Rewards in Every Recitation

The Sahih Hadith in Sahih Muslim 2691 says that repeating the Kalima ten times gives 100 points, forgives 100 sins, and offers a reward equal to releasing 19 enslaved people. These are not just symbolic blessings—they’re real benefits for the one who recites. This act of worship also helps you endure adversity with patience, kindness, and power.

Final Words on Kalima 4 Tauheed

The Holy Prophet (SAW) declared that whoever reciteth the following Dua in Fajar will have ten virtues, ten sins cleansed, and ten ranks added to him.

The Dua is:

It means:

“There is no god but He, the One, who has no partner, to Him belongs the entire Sovereignty, to Him be praise, and He can do all things. (Fatwa: 182/144/H=1434)

Educational and Spiritual Value of the Kalimas

The Six Kalimas are not all found together in the Quran or Hadith, but they are accepted as authentic forms of dhikr and prayers. They serve as an educational tool for children and new Muslims to build a good foundation in Islam. These kalimas show the intimate relationship between a believer and Allah, who alone has the right to be worshipped.
